H.E. Shamma bint Suhail bin Faris Al Mazrui

Her Excellency Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrui has been a pivotal figure in advancing the rights and well-being of People of Determination in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Her dedication to fostering an inclusive society has led to significant strides in policies and initiatives that support individuals with special needs.

In February 2023, she was appointed as the Minister of Community Empowerment, where she continues to champion social inclusion and the rights of People of Determination.

As Minister of Community Empowerment, Shamma Al Mazrui has been instrumental in implementing policies and programs that enhance the lives of individuals with special needs. Her efforts include:

In July and August 1999 It was my privilege and honor to assist a lovely UAE family with arrangements for their accommodation, local transportation, medical appointments and other activities while they were in Washington, DC for a few weeks.
